How this works

This is a streaming live TV service that you use on a device like a Firestick, Fire TV, Android Device, or IOS Device that is connected to your TV.

  1. Place order and setup account.
  2. Download the app to your device.
  3. Enter credentials you get after placing order.

NOTE: You will have credentials to log into the website, and you will have other credentials for the app.

But keep in mind that you can only watch 1 tv/device per device subscription model you choose.

Example: Household has 4 TV's, and 2 cell phones. That is 6 devices, and all can have the app to watch tv. If you sign up for a 3 device plan you can only watch on 3 tv's at the same time, or 2 tv's and 1 cell phone, or 2 cell phones & 1 tv...but only 3 devices at the same time. Yes, chat with us and we can upgrade your account whenever. Offering up to 8 device/user plans, and with the Plus & Premium plans all entertainment needs are covered.

Your account is only good for the period you purchased. If you wish to cancel you don't have to do anything, but your account will still work till the expiration date. There is no auto renew so you wont be billed anymore. There is no refund for cancelling in the middle of a subscription term.

Tips and tricks to know

Navigation: using the back button opens the left menu columns. The most left column is the main menu, the next column is the Playlist & Category menu, the next column is the Channels list menu, the next column is the TV guide.

Favorites: click and hold down on any channel then select Add to Favorites. If you have more than 1 playlist you will have favorites for each playlist and a combined favorites.

Blocking Categories: go to settings, select playlists, select the playlist to edit, scroll to Manage Groups and turn on/off any category. It is recommended to disable any categories you do not use to increase the performance overall.

Picture in Picture: while watching a channel click ok and hold for 1 second, select multi screen, add up to 8 screens.

Return to last channel: while watching a channel click ok and the bottom of the screen has the history - delete history is at the end of the list.

Changing or Viewing Account Details: go to settings, select playlists, select the playlist you need account details for, scroll to Xtreme Codes Parameters to view account details including credentials, expiration date, and Group management.

Search: This is one of the greatest features of Stivi. Access in the main menu and you can search for any "key word", "title", or "content" and it searches all playlists, categories, channels, and guide. It is presented in Tabs using the right/left keys to navigate. Play around with this and you might be surprised at what it finds.

Adding a Playlist: Go to settings, click playlist, select add playlist, choose the playlist you purchased and enter credentials. Be careful and leave the checkmarks in tv channels & movies. 

With multiple playlists you will see all the categories in the 2nd column, and have backups to all channels, more movies on demand, and a better stable service.

Trouble-Shooting problems is not that difficult and not that many issues can arise.

Streaming live TV is much more processor strenuous than say Netflix or Prime video but below I will discuss some of the more popular problems we have found, and the process to correct.

  • Getting Error message on all Streams - check your expiration date (settings, playlist, choose playlist, xtreme code parameters), or try adding the playlist again. (settings, playlist, add playlist)
  • Firestick locks up or acts strange - usually this is from it being powered on too long. The Firestick plugs into an HDMI port on the TV and has a USB cord that goes to a USB adapter plugged into the power outlet. Best practice is to unplug the USB from the adapter and plug it into a USB port on the TV. This way the Firestick is only powered on when the TV is powered on. Give it a 5-10 minute rest before powering it back on.
  • Buffering or Channel lockup - This can happen due to many different circumstances. If it is caused by too many people accessing the stream; many times you can find the same program on another stream (abc tampa, go to abc orlando), or you can have a second playlist like GTV Plus. But most of the time this is caused by an ISP issue; and you should try rebooting your modem & router.
  • Specific Channel not Working - update playlist by going to: (settings, playlist, update all playlist). The stream might be broke and should be reported so dev team can look into it.

Setup for Fire Stick or Fire-TV

Simple installation and here are 2 methods. The first is for people that need that extra help and is step by step, and the second is for the ones that have used the fire stick for streaming and are more experienced.

More experienced use the downloader app on the firestick and enter URL: simplyexciting.com/apps/geniestivi.apk

Once downloading click install, and then click open. It will then prompt you to select a Playlist. Choose the Playlist you subscribed to and then enter your credentials, it takes a few seconds then click next, once processed click done.
